This is an insane world-so what?

Well, last week was gorgous and this week is rainy rainy and believe you when i say that it wasnt like this when i awoke this morning, it was quite dry, but now the heavens have opened up and there is a torrential downpour, in case you were wondering what teh weather was this week. so by now yoiu alll know about my carreer develpoment class that is providing me with infinite wisdom about life and is giving me serious material for this blog. so this week we had a speaker come tell us about studying abroad and i was like hello..been there done that ..twice..he's telling us how cool it is that you can get credits while abroad and experience the culture of the country...learn the language...blah blah blah...whatever man...so then after his presentation we all got into a circle and had to discuss what we thought were the negative feedbacks that we got from the class, since we all had to do group presentations...how did we think the class responded to our presentations basically.. anyway...

Science lessons!

Its a beautiful day in the neighberhood..wont you be mine? its stunning outside here  and i just thought ya'll should know, the hardest part of these things is knowing how to start, once i start i'm fine i keep going and going (just like a duracell battery) but thats the hard part, its the law of intertia an object at motion stays in motion an object at rest stays at rest. its amazing how much mussar and hashkafa can be learned from science, i could just expan on that right now for about two pages but i have another science lesson for you today. currently i am learning about the respiratory system. even the people who arent science majors know that teh basic function of the respiratory system is allowing us to breath. the scientific terms for this is inspiration(inhalation) and expiration(exhalation). you can see for your self that this is gonna get me going (besides the cgoffe nad the fast music just help make it all go faster) inspiration is an active process, though we do ...

Dare to be different!

So, yoiu know how i was going on adn on about bridging the gap...yea well i forget it this week. so....help me brainstorm here, purim, sping break, dressing up, school, parking lot full(maybe), fasting, megilla...kay i think i got a starting point... so yesterday i went to school, i dont normally go to school on thursdays, but i had to make up a lab that i missed bcz of purim. so when i went to park the normal parking lot was full, so i had to go to the other one(you know the one that i got lost in last time?) so there is a sign that if you are parking for marta, then you need to park on the third floor, well last time i tried to do that, i got totally lost, so i just parked in any spot and ran to catch the train. when i got back, i found my car fairly easily and i was pulling out and i gave the lady my ticket, she says "that'll be four dollars sweetheart" and then i said "even if im just marta parking" and she said that i had to go to the third floor to park and...

The Missing piece

First of all i want to say that Bridging the Gap should be required reading for everyone! its awesome and its so intense, it really captures everuything in such a real way, it really mkaes yoiu think. anyway, thats not the point. just was letting you know...this past week i've experienced a frustrating phenomena.. what is that you ask...well since you asked so nicely...the cover of my phone keeps falling ..huh you say...well let me explain...when i first got my cell phone i decided to funk it up (as u all know i love doing to abt everything) so i went on to ebay and searched cell phone covers and foiund this awesome cover tyhat was totally me. so i bought it and i was so excited when it came (who doesnt love getting packages?) about a month after i had it, ithink i dropped my phone, the back fell off and cracked. since then i've only had the front on. so the front is this awesome "groovy" orange cover and the back is black..yea boring i know... anyway, so it wasnt a p...
