Keep Lovin'

So here is my message of the week. This is something that I learned in one of my classes from Rabbi Brussel. He asked us a question, as moreshet is supposed to be a kiruv training school he asked us what mitzva is the source for doing kiruv. So some girls said “love thy neighbor as thy loves thy self” meaning just as you care about your own spirituality ( or at least I hope you do) so too you should care abt your fellow jew who is suffering from lack of spirituality. Someone else said that it is the commandment of “though shall not stand on the blood of thy neighbor” Meaning how can I stand by and not do anything while my brother is drowning in impurity and sin ( man i sound like a pastor!) but the answer he gave us was suprising, it was none of those it was the mitzva of loving the Almighty. How you may ask does that work? Well here it is the answer you’ve all been waiting for I( well at least for the last .5 seconds) you know when you love something you cant stop talking about? Like you crazy HP fans who cant stop talking about quidditch or those shopaholics who cant stop talking abt “ OH MY GOSH!i bought like the most hev outfit today it was like totally presh!” Well someone who loves Hashem cant stop talking about Him or His Torah. You love it all so much that it just over flows out of your and it pours on to the person next to you. You cant help but want to share all you know bcz you love it so much it just consumes you and takes over you! The same is true when it comes to your own development . this is something that Rabbi A touched on at the end of last year and Rabbi Kass ( OMG he is my principal!) said at the beginning of the year. You cannot begin to hope to effect others if you are not the paradigm of a servant of Hashem, meaning you are always working on yourself and when you work on yourself and don’t compromise anything in your service to your Father in Heaven then your ahavas Hashem just pours out of you unto all those around, you making yourself a better person makes people around you want to be better so since I think that since I have broken my record I think s I should say Achla Shabbat
And keep loving and though shall spill forth unto others
