Rude Awakening

Hey Ya'll,first i want to give a shout out to all my loyal readers, every week i sit here and send my message into cyberspace and i wonder if anyone reads the words that i am typing giving them credence so i would like to take this opportunity to thank all you guys who take the time to stretch out your hand and click on the icon signalling that you have received another email from yours truly and you don't just stop there you continue and exert yourself further and make your eyes exercise and you make your finger scroll down the page as you read the words that i decided might just interest you so I'm just saying thank you. so here is the weeks inspirational thought:

this actually came from Rabbi Septimus, he was saying abt in his yeshiva that it was of course hard to wake up the boys and one of the boys especially had a hard time getting outa bed so one morning the ROSH YESHIVA came and woke him up, and the boy went back to sleep! now you ask how could the boy have the audacity to go back to sleep? well consider this: every morning who wakes you up? now He may send His wake up call via your mother, alarm clock, etc. but essentially every morning it is the Master and Creator of the world that gently awakens you from the slumber which He granted you out of His infinite kindness, yet when the time to awaken comes you roll over, turning your back to THE CREATOR OF THE WORLD and claiming you'll be up in 5 minutes which both you and i know is more like 50 min if no one came to wake you up, sometimes He will mercifully give you that five minutes you desperately think you need bcz those five min will change the whole tune of the day in your mind,

so when He comes to wake you up, instead of being thankful for this kindness, U grumble and groan as you stumble to the bathroom mumbling modeh ani. now is the proper way to thank your Father for giving you your neshama back and giving you the opportunity to do more mitzvot, earn more schar and and bringing the world back to its tikkun? you are being given a chance to build your eternity and you cant bring yourself to thank the one who is giving you this opportunity?"
