Small Reminder
Kay, so where do i start? so my b-day was this week and i celebrated for like three days bcz there is an argument in my family as to the actual date on which i was born, see i was never sure till i got my permit and needed a copy of my birth certificate and which time i discovered that my b-day is on the 30 of July yet my father insists that its on the thirty first so we celebrate both days every year. when one reaches a momentous occasion of reaching the grand old age of 19 you start to ponder the meaning of life and wonder what is it that i want to do with my life? what kinda guy do i want to marry( remember you answered that question for Rabbi A but your answer might have changed now that you have landed) so first of all this is your reminder not to land, keep those goals that you set for your self in sem.
remember the look mrs. birnbaum gave us everyday as she looked each one of us up and down in class when you get dressed in the morning, so i really dont have anything profound to say, except i was learning derech Hashem and ran across something that mrs. Birnbaum had taught us but i had forgotten. when we say shema and we get to the part of " uvchol nafshechem" imagine someone coming up to you and asking you to transgress one of the mitzvot of "yaharog v'yaavor" would you give up your life for the sake of Hashem? if you have that kavana when you say those words then it is as if you gave up your life l'shaim shamayim. so this is just a reminder sorry i have nothing profound or funny this week shabbat shalom
