it doesn't hurt to try or so they say. I disagree. Sometimes, it hurts, and more than a little to try. Clearly the statement needs to be amended with some sort of clause saying that it depends. Does it hurt to try sushi? no.. as long as its not with improperly cooked puffer fish. Does it hurt to try drugs? probably not a good idea Does it hurt try on the dress? no Does it hurt to try and start a relationship? YES! There are times when there is a huge risk that you are taking. You are opening yourself to someone else. You are making yourself vulnerable. You are giving of yourself. So does it hurt to try? if you get rejected...HECK YEA! There are times when i am willing to take the risk, we are just starting out, I'm not exposing myself too much..that i can recover from if my friendship is spurned..but when your getting deeper and you get rejected..that leaves a scar that is not easy to recover from.
